Yes, this time I did bring the laptop with me, in anticipation of taking a break at some point of the night and giving you all a half-shift report. RP claims that the Nazarini’s are on a very tight schedule, and probably won’t have time to come to my job, but I’m never sure about that, and I never take any chances.
I’m in the bowling alley tonight, and that always proves to be entertaining. Bowling on the weekends, it’s even more ghetto than during the week. I’ll have lots of “fun” in there tonight, don’t know if I’ll make much money but I’ll be busy, I can guarantee you that.
Another reason I brought the laptop with me is because I’m going to have to do the Poll Results and Stupid Names of the Week just as soon as I get off work, then try to get some sleep. I have an open-close shift tomorrow, and another double on Sunday, and if I don’t get at least a little bit of sleep, I’m going to be just plain fucked over the weekend. They’re good money shifts, but only if I manage to get a wink or two.
