I know I needed this time off to rest and rejuvenate, but I’m bored as Hell.  I didn’t go anywhere, I’m sitting at the homestead.

Being that I’m on vacation until Saturday when I go back to work, I’ll be pulling out stories from my old restaurants.  Blasts from the past.

I didn’t realize how much I’d miss working.  If it wasn’t a paid vacation, I’d have never taken it.

So apparently a firewire cable connected to the server that holds our precious RagingServer was loose yesterday morning about 9 am, and the server crashed as a result.  RagingServer.com was down for about 21 hours, and I was in my own personal Hell.

I’m back though, so be ready for the normal poll result and stupid names post tonight, a new poll, and probably another post.

Manuel pointed out something in a comment this morning about how I haven’t posted for you all in a couple of days.  I just had to take a bit of time to myself.  Resting, relaxing, and more resting.  I worked a little on my hopefully soon to be titled, written and published book, and I rested some more.  I go back to work tonight, and I’m sure it’ll provide me with a post about something.  I’m wondering where Will Work For Tips is at with this weeks Round Table, as it doesn’t seem to have been posted yet.  Eric, if you’re reading this, don’t leave us hanging!

So yes, I’ve been absent from here for a couple of days now.  I’ve had the motivation to approve comments, but I’ve felt like shit and just haven’t felt the spark to write a post.  But I’m back, feeling a bit better, and ready to post again.

Thank you to everyone who sent me messages wondering where I’m at, I didn’t realize people actually do read this blog every day and wonder sometimes when there’s no new post.
