However, he is not free from controversies that threaten to put him in wrong books with some of his fans. Recently, 50 cent gave a remark on twitter that has since then added him on the list of gay hatters which is definitely not a good position for a person in his career line considering that even the gay population form part of his fans. Apparently, the singer said that men who are not able to give women sexual satisfaction should just commit suicide. With critics all over and there still being a struggle from some quarters and individuals included about accommodating homosexuals in general meaning the legalization of same sex relationships, the singer’s words were automatically translated as hate speech and a clear indication that he is against gay relationships. Well, I guess 50 cent had not anticipated that such a small tweet will stir up great strife but it actually did. Due to the confrontation that his remarks were bringing his way, the rapper had to come out clear and explain what he really meant. In his defense, 50 cent said that he did not have anything against gay people and same sex relationships for that matter and even added that his own mother was more into fellow women than men. To him, it was just a light remark and he wasn’t happy that people were blowing it out of proportion.
