I work at a C-store in south Texas.  Well as you know we can not allow people to talk on their cell phones while pumping their gas, its for your safety and the people around you.  I called over the intercom to a woman on the last pump and ask her not to talk on the phone, all I got back from her was “I’ll get off my phone when you give me back my money.”  So thats what I did, all the while she was hollering that she wanted the store number and the corp. number and this is not how you treat customers and that she was a store manager for a local ice cream shop, then she said she was a GM for said ice cream shop.  So I pointed to the window and told her that it was there, “I can’t read!”  After about ten times of her telling me this I walk to the corner she was standing at and ask her if she couldn’t read then how are you writing.  “Oh well I know how to write I just can’t read.”  That was the last straw I call out the phone number to her and then finish up with customer in my line and walk to the cooler to calm down.  About ten mins later I walk out and there she is talking to a police officer that happen to drive up, he told that I was just doing my job,and not to fly off the handle because its fed. law.  So don’t talk on your phones while pumping gas you will be breaking the law.
